A few things to know.

What can I build?

Artist directories, birthday tools, release browsing, fandom calendars and apps that follow approved data changes. The consumer pages on this site use the same catalog.

What are the beta limits?

Public reads allow 60 requests per IP per minute. Keys also have limits of 120 per minute and 10,000 per account per UTC day, shared across keys. All limits apply together. Free accounts provide self-service keys after email verification. The public playground is limited to 20 fixed examples per IP per day.

Where does the data come from?

Structured facts from Wikidata, MusicBrainz and selected official sources. Profiles include source IDs and provenance. We do not distribute copied biographies, lyrics or protected artist images.

Are all upcoming releases included?

Coverage is growing. Selected official announcement sources are monitored, and detected changes need review before publication. Release dates retain source precision; there is no guarantee of complete or real-time coverage.
